Wilderstein is an enchanting historic estate situated high above the Hudson River in Rhinebeck, New York. The site offers a romantic, elegant, and natural setting for weddings and related events.

Wedding ceremonies may take place anywhere on Wilderstein's captivating 40-acre landscape, including our two gazebos. The lawn east of Wilderstein's Porte Cochere is available to rent for wedding receptions. From this lawn, guests have spectacular views of the  Esopus Lighthouse and the river at one of its widest points. The estate's magical Queen Anne mansion serves as a backdrop for ceremonies and receptions alike.

Wilderstein's charming 1889 Gatehouse Lodge  is also available to rent for smaller ceremonies.

The site may be reserved between the hours of 9:00am and dusk for a maximum of 8 hours. The mansion is open for tours Thursday - Sunday, noon until 4:00pm. If your event is scheduled during these hours, tours will go on as scheduled, but wedding guests are invited to tour the mansion at a reduced admission charge.
