Wilderstein Carriage House Project!

Thanks to our supporters, Wilderstein’s mansion, grounds and many of the outbuildings on the estate have been brought back to glory, enjoyment and usability.

The next phase in the vision for Wilderstein’s future is the restoration and adaptive reuse of the Carriage House into a dynamic center of activity for the site and the surrounding community. Realization of this vision will allow Wilderstein to progress substantively beyond what it is able to currently offer the public, and reach its full potential as a major resource for tourism, culture and education in the Hudson Valley.

Now is the time to begin restoration of this architectural treasure, before it is too late.  Work done to temporarily preserve the building has run its course. If steps are not taken soon, the Wilderstein Carriage House will fall into a state beyond repair and it will be lost.

Your financial support is vital for this to move forward.  Stay tuned for the launch of our 2013 capital campaign for phase 1 of the Wilderstein Carriage House project.  To learn more or make a contribution to this effort, please contact the Wilderstein Office at 845.876.4818.
